Gothic art lasted around 200 years in medieval times and was a big art movement. Gothic art was about telling a story through pictures. There were many ways to express gothic art and included among them are sculptures, stained glass, fresco and even panel painting. It added a certain dramatic flare that adds to the period and is very unique to other paintings of its time. From gothic art, renaissance art was born and is more widely recognized. Still, this brief period is still very inspiring and interesting to look at for ideas for a future project or just to admire.
